Naarni Service ("the App") is an internal field-operations tool provided by Naarni Technologies ("we", "us") to its authorised staff — service engineers, technicians, depot managers and operations users — for managing vehicle maintenance job cards. This policy explains what the App collects, why, and how it is handled. The App is intended for authorised business users only and requires an account provisioned by us.
Information we collect

We do not collect contacts, browsing history or advertising identifiers, and we do not use your data for advertising.
How your data is used
Data is used exclusively to operate the maintenance workflow: signing you in, recording job-card activity, verifying field work through stamped photos, and sending operational notifications. Session credentials are stored encrypted on your device and are excluded from cloud backups.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications, or where required by law.
Data retention & deletion
Job-card records and photos are retained for as long as needed for maintenance and audit purposes. You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time — see our Account & Data Deletion page. We act on requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
Security
Data in transit is protected with HTTPS/TLS. Session credentials are stored in Android's encrypted storage (AES-256). Access to backend records is role-restricted.
Permissions the App requests
- Camera — to capture job and inspection photos.
- Location (precise, foreground only) — to stamp photos with capture location. Optional; if denied, photos are stamped "Location unavailable".
- Notifications — to alert you to job assignments and updates.
Children
The App is not directed to children and is for authorised staff only.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
